PSA: Diversity isn't just a buzzword – it's a necessary component for a thriving advertising industry.
Industries always talk about diversifying leadership, but are we doing enough? To be honest, probably not. We “the Juniors” think it's time to take action.
Juniors are the New Seniors Interactive Mixer
Juniors are the New Seniors will provide an opportunity for young creatives in advertising, including those in production, design, strategy, and accounts, to come together and connect with industry leaders from diverse backgrounds and ad disciplines in a relaxed, chill environment.
The event will be led by future industry leaders Russie Miessi (they/them) from Fax No Printer, a D&AD Trustee, and a Strategist at Born Social, in partnership with Clarice Metzger, MBA Metzger (she/her), founder of The Yard, Senior Creative Strategy Manager at Woo. You won't want to miss it.
So if you’re a Junior, Entry or just feeling a bit new, space is limited, so please RSVP, and we'll confirm your spot ahead of the event.
You already know the drill, it won’t be a Fax No Printer edition if we didn’t have our Critical Thinking Questions:
Do you believe that we should challenge the lack of diversity within advertising from the bottom up or top down? Why?
Ps. If you’re a senior, you can show support by spreading the message and re-posting our Linkedin Post to your creative communities.
